Hi. I have already downloaded the last version (1.9.11, 64-bit) and I'm installed the necessary codecs and plugins (mkv, mp4) but I read the written (Missing Codec/ Missing Codec mp4v/ Missing Codec avi1) I do not know how to sove the problem since I have already installed the codec. |

When installing VirtualDub 64-bit you must also install the 64-bit versions of inputdriver plugins and codecs.
The inputdriver plugins like Matroska and QuickTime relay on installed (Video for Windows) VFW version of video-codecs. The most easy way to make them available is to install ffdshow, that you can find here: > http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow-tr...eleases/64-bit/
After installation of ffdshow you will have to 'enable' the needed codecs via the "VFW Configuration" menu-item.
For Audio-decoding you will also have to install ACM-codecs like AAC and AC3, that you can find at the same place as the inputdriver plugins: > http://gral.y0.pl/~fcchandler/ > http://forums.virtualdub.org/index.php?act...=ST&f=7&t=19488
On the other hand you have also the possibility to install the "DirectShow" inputdriver plugin for VirtualDub. This means that, when you are able to play a videofile via Windows Media Player, then you should be able to open it in VirtualDub via de DirectShow plugin that relays on the DirectShow version of codecs on your pc. > http://forums.virtualdub.org/index.php?act...=ST&f=7&t=15093 |
