In a previous release of the plugin (from October) it was possible to use QuickTime to decode MP4 and MOV in VirtualDub by modifying the INI file found in the main directory accordingly. This is what mine looked like:
| CODE | [Settings] color=0 Mode=0 audio=0 quality=100 vtrack=1 atrack=0 gamma=0 fourcc= |
Could this please be reimplemented in the plugin? And also, in the mean time, could I be directed to last version to have this? I wrote over mine and don't find it online anymore.
Thank you, fccHandler, by the way, for all your great tools. |

Look here: http://forums.virtualdub.org/index.php?act...=ST&f=7&t=19488
There is more than one QuickTime input plugin (and one is completely different from the other). The one from fccHandler never had the ini file.

Wow. What? I occasionally update my plugins with fccHandler's website but could have sworn I was using his. "Modified: Monday, October 15, 2007, 5:32:42 PM." I guess the year flew right over my head.
Would it still be possible to add this function to 'Handler's, however, to have the ultimate QuickTime plugin?
I don't mean to step on anybody's toes, and in any event, thank you too, tateu and ale. |

The plugin by fccHandler only use VFW/ACM codecs (it doesn't use the QuickTime framework) so "Mode" doesn't make sense.
What option you need that there isn't arleady? Look in the extended options of the input plugin, there is a "Save as default" button.

Oh, I'd like there to be the option of choosing between VfW and the QuickTime framework instead of going back and forth between plugins. It's just a mere suggestion. |

The plugin by tateu doesn't support direct stream copy.
The point is that the plugin by fccHandler doesn't (and probably will never) support the QuickTime framework.
