After I load a .TS file I click the Input play button and get an error reading:
QUOTE
The decompression cocec decompresses to an RBG format.  This is very unusual.  Check that any "Force YUY2" options are not enabled in the codec's properties

I've looked in Options | Preferences and can only find one instance under AVI an option to uncheck directly decode uncompressed YCbCr (YUY) sources but checking or unchecking has not effect: the error shows up when I load the *.MTS file.

The input window shows the first frame of the video, but trying to play the video is where I get the error.

I also cannot load *.MTS files. The .MTS is not a listed file extension so I'm using "List all files" in the file input box. When I choose the .MTS file I want to load I get this error:
QUOTE
The file "F:\V-dubTest2.MTS" is of unknown or unsupported file type.

Somehow I think the errors are connected to the same problem(s).

I'm running a W7 machine with plenty of horsepower and lots of RAM. I'm sure the problem lies somewhere between the keyboard and the chair.

Thanks
