When i decompressed in Pcm format, stream audio in film. If film lasts 2h30 or more, the file wav obtened is greater than 2,1 giga.

If this file is greater than 2,1 giga, I can't open this file with nerowave or wavegain. Message say format error.

Somebody know this probleme ?

Thank for your response

WAV files can't be bigger than 2 GB. That is a restriction of the format.

...Sort of.

Current versions of VirtualDub will switch from the standard WAVE format to the WAVE64 format at the 2GB mark. The WAVE64 format was introduced by Sony to work around the file size issue and it is only supported by some programs. Unlike the AVI extensions, WAVE64 does not have a backwards compatible portion and cannot be read at all by utilities that only understand WAV.

As such, you should check the input capabilities of the programs you are using. If they can accept raw audio, then you may be able to export a raw stream bigger than 2GB and import that into your other program. If that doesn't work, then I think your only choice will be to cut up the audio.
