Hello!

I used to use Virtual Dub every day, simply to cut files. I recently had to reformat my computer....and ever since, I can't use Virtual Dub at all. Nothing works because all of my codecs are missing. I tried to follow through the forum with the codec problems others are having, but it hasn't helped because we aren't having the same problems so I'm still missing stuff.

I installed this ---> https://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow-tryout/ but I don't really know what to enable and disable....

What should I do? sad.gif Any assistance would be great! Thank you! ^^b

Go on the VFW configuration (yellow icon) of ffdshow-tryout and enable the codec that you need.
Open the video file with MediaInfo to see what codec is needed to be decoded.

New VirtualDub forum
VirtualDub AIO (All-in-One installer for VirtualDub and plugins)
Codec Toolbox RS (A tool to read/change merit of codecs and many other things)
Input plugins for VirtualDub / ACM codecs / VFW codecs
