whenever I go to VDub and try to open a video file , I get one of two error messages: Couldn't locate decompressor for format MP43....and MPEG-4 V3

What do I do?
Thanks,

I think if you play the file in MediaPlayer, it will download the codec for you. If I'm wrong, try installing the Codecs Installation Packages from Microsoft.

Installing Windows Media Player 7 will install both the codec and the necessary DirectShow filter for MPEG4V3 AFAIK ..
