Hey to all... 1st timer for this forum... I've been ripping/converting films to XviD since DVD-ROM's were commercially available... I now convert Bluray movies to XviD. The majority of Bluray's M2TS's I have converted use the 'x264' codec. but I have found that films' originally released in DVD only, & eventually released in HD use the 'VC-1' codec.
x264 features convert to XviD via VirtualDub no problem but when i convert the VC-1 (Advanced@3 Profile) features, the avi's come out with a stuttering effect!?
I have skimmed the net looking for people with the same problem but it seems pretty rare.... anyone know how to overcome this glitch as I would prefer to keep exercising my current method for conversion. I've tried later versions of my codecs/drivers but no change.
XP SP3 VirtualDub Halli Matroska Media Splitter FFDShow & or Xvid (tried both)
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance. |

You could be a little more patient. This is not a really big forum and VirtualDub is not a BluRay ripper.
I would suggest to go to doom9.org where they have experience with these things.
