I installed it but I realized that I don't need it. I deleted a inf file but that didn't fix anything. I thought I could delete the wmv9vcm.dll, as it is labeled in Virtualdub but I can't find it. I just don't want the WMV Encoder showing up in the Compression menu anymore. Can anyone assist me? |

It should show up in the remove programs list of the control panel.

That's just the problem, it doesn't, it didn't come with an uninstaller of any kind. I managed to find the inf file that was recently created. But now I guess I have to find the dll also to fully remove it. |

Reinstall it and then uninstall it. I can only assume that you deleted some files which made it not show up in add/remove.
Mine says Microsoft Windows Media Video 9 VCM in add/remove programs. |
