hello,

I've got a quite large video file here, ca. 1.0 GB, divX-compression.
As I try to play it on virtualdub, there's sound, no video mad.gif

What's the problem ?

computer is PIII - 733 mHz - 320 MB RAM - windows 2000

greetz, frank

I assume you dont have the right VfW codec installed. Please note that Virtualdub is not using DirectShow filters for playback, so even if the file plays nice in Windows Mediaplayer on the same PC it is still possible that Vdub can not handle the file ... doesnt it come up with an error message or such if you open the file ?
