Hello!
I am using a temprary account, because I cannot remember my password....
When using the "I have forgotten my password" form, I enter my username: FrameMan.
After clicking "Proceed" I get the following error:
The Following Errors Were Found -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The registration code did not match the one displayed, a new code has been generated, please try again
and I get no e-mail with confirmation...
What am I doing wrong ? |

It sounds like you were registering, instead of retrieving a password, but I don´t know that feature of this board.
The generated code? Has there been a graphic displayed perhaps? Most boards use a graphical coded code to prevent bots from registering.

Thank you for the answer, but I believe, that I am using the Lost Password Form, so I do not think, that trying to register instead of using the Lost Password Form was the cause. Here is the whole "textshot" of the FIRST page used in the lost password form.
As far as I can remember, the form software then sends an e-mail with confirmation link. When I click it, it allows me to log in and change password. It does not use any graphics for fooling the bots...

maybe you have better luck if you sent a PM to one of the boards administrators... i dont think they will mind (in this case), and they could have overlooked this topic...

OK, I just tried it myself - that looks like a bug in the forum software.
Apparently the PROCEED button links you to the wrong page, probably a registering page or so.
As stephanV said - PM an Admin. That should be fixed.
