when I run V-Dub on my XP system it re boots my computer. I'm trying to re save a avi file using DivX 4.12
it is a clean install of XP and using a Gainwood Ti4200 64 meg
1.5 gig of RAM

any ideas or help please ?

Hmmm ... why DivX 4.12 ? I am not sure it will work fine on XP ? Why dont you upgrade to DivX 5.02 ?
