Did anybody notice that there are no developers at this forum? Developers seem to put their efforts towards Avisynth, not even trying to port their filters to Vdub. Even Donald Graft (Neuron2) is more interested about Avisynth. Could anybody give some more information on this topic? |

AVISynth works with virtualdub and more. They could make a simple filter for Virtualdub which would be good. Or they could make a filter for Avisynth and it would work for virtualdub and alot of others. Virtualdub has some pretty nifty processing tricks up its sleeves. But then again so does Avisynth. I have found myself using AVISynthi more for processing in conjunction with virtualdub. THe main thing AVISynth lacks is a nice uniform GUI like Virtualdub. Together though they make a good team. |
