These are both installed an my laptop.

AAC ACM Codec X64 1.9
AC-3 ACM Codec x64 2.2

Never mind about the MediaInfo report, I found it elsewhere.

Anyway, I can play a similar file without problem. 32-bit VirtualDub + FFmpeg input driver.
Not sure how the audio gets decoded (@dloneranger, does FFID do audio as well?)

At my opinion the FFMpeg input plugin does both, video AND audio. Maybe dloneranger can confirm that question when reading this ?
So, NO need to install additional audio decoders, when using this plugin to open (for example) *.MKV files.

I just wonder if shokan has installed this FFMpeg input plugin for VirtualDub, as I proposed to do a while ago ?

FFMpeg plugin does audio and video
Problems with the acm codecs are usually solved by using the installers on the fcchandlers sourceforge page, listed here for convenience
