Hi all,
Cheers to Raffriff42 who earlier created "dotcrawlplus" to simulate
dot crawl and rainbowing. I've been researching about composite tape
formats for professional use and the latest analog composite video
format seems to be U-Matic SP. Would anyone have a clue on how to
simulate dropouts or anoverall visual effect from said system with
Avisynth?
Would I be able to apply a "NTSC filter" for console emulation
(i.e. SNES) in Virtualdub?

Also, does anybody know of professional digital (tape) formats where
there were dropouts that resembled blocks of "pixel stretching" or
is it common on all digital tape formats?

Thanks,
RealDUB
