Is there a program Like virtualdub for Linux? I'm looking for a program I can use to cut out parts of DivX5 avi's, recompress, and more importantly resize avi's.

I have scoured the web, asked in IRC channels... help me Obi-Wan kenobi you're my only hope.

P.S. If there is no such thing, would someone with lightning bolts shooting out of their head please write one? ;-P

Thanks!

I remember Avery once saying that he would like to do a Linux port of VirtualDub, but don't hold your breath for it. sad.gif

I can imagine that it will be an enormous task for him, but it would be ten times as enormous for anyone else.
