OK, I've been using Adaptec Gamebridge for a long time, but finally got fed up with the assy InterVideo recording software packaged with it. I discovered how awesome VirtualDub is at recording months ago, but lately I have to plug in a system directly to my laptop, subjecting me to an interlaced display lest I endure a laggy preview instead.
The reason? When I split the signal with Gamebridge, there's a buzzing noise and the picture is usually staticy. Is the damn thing just getting old, and do I need a new one? I also got a Sabrent EasyCap as a backup, and, well, same problem. Plus when I hook up the EasyCap to my laptop and go to Capture AVI mode...it's like a train whistle right in your brain.
What options are there besides a new Gamebridge? I simply need something that'll let me split the signal, won't distory the display on my TV, won't GIVE ME THIS BUZZING NOISE, and won't break the bank. Well? |
