i split my first avi with virtualdub and follwed a step by step prossces that i found on the web. i thought this is easy and everything went great until i viewed what i split and the sound is off mouths move and the speak later u know what im talking aobut like a old kong fu movie can any one help me out. |

if the a/v desync is constant ( the amount of time between lip movement and real speech ) you can try opening the AVI file in VDub again, set Video and Audio to Direct Stream Copy and then goto Audio | Interleaving | Audio Skew Correction. You can delay the audio track this way ( with negative numbers you can make it play earlier ) and thus fix the desync. |
