Can anyone shed some light here?
VirtualDub 1.4.12 AviSynth 2.07
If I open a simple test.avs that contains even only just version(), VirtualDub instantly closes. Bang, no error, just gone.
Athlon XP1800+, fresh install of Win2000 that I just completed...
What the hell??

It also happened to me. Check the plugins installed in the plugin dir (in AviSynth2 directory). If it contains a plugin made for version 2.5 of Avisynth this is what cause the program ending.

Hmm... well, it wasn't a 2.5 plugin, but rather it was PeachScript.avs ... removed that, no more problems.
Maybe I missed something along the way, but I don't recall seeing it documented that everything in the plugins folder gets loaded whether or not you call it with a LoadPlugin.
I thought the plugins folder was just a convenient place to store your plugins? Guess not...

btw thanks!
