When I use VirtualDub 1.9.11, I cannot load captured videos (AVI format) from Camtasia Recorder. I get the title error - 'tscc' codec not available. I've installed the latest version of tscc codecs and ffdshow with no luck.

Googling a bit, I downloaded a very old version of vdub, 1.6.19. Works perfectly.

What's the deal? What changed? Why can't I use the new versions?

Dunno, I can use tscc with the latest version without problem

By any chance were the newer versions you tried the 64bit versions?
(64bit virtualdub can only use 64bit codecs)
