Hello,

Description:
After a video driver update the virtualdub (v1.9.11) capture screen gone blank with sound, I still can capture and watch the captured video without problems.

Details:
I have a ASUS M4A78 Pro with a AMD Phenon 9950 Quad Core, DDR2 8GB memory, on board ATI HD3200 graphics and Windows 7 64bit Ultimate. I was using the ATI driver version 8.850.0.0 from April 2011, it was upgraded to 8.911.0.0 November 2011 that is the last version.

I use a IEEE1394 card to capture from a CANOPUS ADVC-110, that uses a DVSD codec.

Soon after the update followed by a reboot, the capture mode in virtualdub display a screen like this:

Looks like an overlay issue?

I can hear the audio and capture fine, after the capture I can load the avi file on virtualdub or WMP without any display issue. Did some other tests with the directshow capture with VLC without problem.

Thank you.

Just to update the post, I've bought a new LED TV without a DVI connector, now I use the graphic card HDMI output instead. Without changing anything, the overlay at virtualdub got fixed, I can see the image just fine.
