Hi,

the screen capture function does not work for me.

The preview and actual output of the capture area is a solid black, with the exception of the mouse cursor, which is recorded properly.

Other devices, such as my webcam, work as they should. Only Screen capture is affected.

I am running Win 7 Enterprise x64 sp1. The error occurs equally with vdub 1.9.11 and 1.10, both x86 and x64.

I used a fresh download, I did not change any of the default settings except the capture device of course. Playing around with the capture area or format settings did not improve anything either.

As far as I know, all Windows flavours are able to do a simple screen capture - you don't need VirtualDub to do it.

Simple keyboard combinations -
Ctrl+PrintScrn captures the whole screen, including the task bar.
Alt+PrintScrn captures the current window in focus.

The mouse pointer is not included in the capture.
The image is saved in your clipboard to paste into any graphics package.

Obviously, I am talking about a video recording of the screen, this being the VDub forum and all.
