Hi there - I'm new so I hope this is the right forum, but I believe I've found a bug (VDub 1.4.13)...
I opened an avi (million$hotel) and got an error message trying to playback (mismatch between input and codec, illegal sampling rate etc.). File info said unknown audio compression (tag 0055).
However with audio full processing mode compressing with 'MPEG layer 3 (tag 0055)' was possible (Fraunhofer IIS MPEG Layer-3 Codec is installed of course). Very strange!
Now I searched for other avi's compressed with this codec and found one I previously recompressed myself (due to VBR in the original).
Having opened and played back this avi, when reopening the former (million$hotel), there were no more any problems neither with playback nor file info not recognizing the codec.
