Hello, Fellows, Would this be a Bug ?

I tried to capture a 9Gb file (6 hours) from TV and discovered something very unusual.
The file ended right.
When I open the file in any DivX player it plays correctly, but when I try to re-open it on VirtualDub again in order to edit, the audio mutes after some minutes. It simply vanishes... We have audio on VD just for some minutes, the rest is all silence...
What could be causing this ?
When opened into a normal the player it plays just fine...

What I used:
VD to capture. DivX 5.02 to encode video. Audio in PCM 48Khz stereo.
Machine: Athlon XP2000 512Mb.

Would be a VD bug ??

Thanks in advance...
