I love virtualdub but all of my movies are long 2 hour affairs that start from DV source. I have to edit under an editing app such as Premiere or, my favorite, Video Vegas.
I wish there was a way to frameserve directly to Virtualdub from any app that can export to AVI. Wouldn't it be possible to make a VFW codec that would feed frames to Virtualdub on a silver platter? Then I could render my long-form movies straight to whatever with all my favorite VD filters and that wonderful deinterlace. I have built directshow in-place filters but I don't have the background to navigate the VFW morass. There must be a reason this is totally impossible otherwise it seems to me that someone would of done it before. |

on www.videotools.net you can get some frame serving tools. IIRC they also have some tools concerning Premiere but I never tried them ( except AviSynth ). |
