Hello,

Thank for the great job - I am using VD for a long time.

I often have several jobs that hit the same .VOB file, because I need to encode multiple parts of this .VOB file separatly.

Each time a job starts, it re-opens the same .VOB file and displays the same gauge "parsing interleaved MPEG file ..."

What about "caching" the information Virtual Dub parse each time a MPEG stream is open ? for example, save them with a special extension ? or whatever ?

The reason why I suggest those information to be cached somewhere is that a huge MPEG2 stream does not change often. smile.gif

Cheers,
Laurent.
