hello,

I'm having problems getting any sound for certain avi files (video is fine), and i realize that a new audio encoder may be necessary. I've been reading up and ppl have been saying they've had the same problem for movie files like "Triple X" and "007 Die Anotehr Day". Found this off the web:

http://download.divxmovies.com/divx_audio_402.zip

.........nice thing about this being you don't need to reinstall everything else or worry bout older codecs overwriting newer ones. But the most frustrating thing is the register.exe (installer) gives me errors!

can any1 suggest a solution to this or give some alternative? I'm using WinXP Pro if that's significant in any way.

thanx as always
