I was to lazy to use the search button ph34r.gif but in case no one knows...

http://cyrius.bunkus.org/ is an excellent site - you'll find out for yourself...

I also find this site excellent biggrin.gif

For those who are interested the latest modifications I made should allow you to save to an OGM file, and to use multiple input audio files (Ogg, AC3 or MP3) in this case.

For the moment you cannot specify your own comments (LANGUAGE, ...). And only the first video stream and the audio streams are taken into account for an OGM file (i.e. subtitles are discarded).

I cannot guarantee everything is perfect in this version so please use with care (and don't delete your sources before verifying what you produced with this version works wink.gif )

[Edit]Latest version supports comments now[/Edit]

Why not biggrin.gif

But I think I read somewhere (maybe the person was wrong) that Avery Lee was very interested in making this as soon as MCF specs are frozen ?

In the meantime I released a new version that now support subtitle streams (coming from the OGM file as input, or from a .srt file).

Well, its interesting that many people are spreading the rumour that Avery is planning to add MCF support into Vdub once libmcf is done, but in fact i havent talked to him about this issue for months, and i cant remember he ever mentioned he would do it.

Its true, Avery is involved with MCF from the very very start ( when it once was TMF ), and Tronic ( Lasse Karkainen ) reported he gave some advice on how the framing should be looking, but maybe not more than that.

Then i invited Avery 2 times to comment on important aspects of the MCF specs, what he did, last one was his very interesting input ( and also critics ) on transor API on the MCF dev board on www.corecodec.com , but unfortunately the complete thread was lost with a database crash sad.gif ...

But, honestly speaking, i dont think Avery will have the time ever to work on MCF implementation for vdub, as this is much more complicated as with OGM, baring in mind MCF will also introduce a new codec handling API replacing VfW ( transor API --> UCI , http://uci.sourceforge.net ), so codecs will have to be called completely different .

BTW : we have a first MCF parser for Windows now being tested inside the MCF dev team ... just to show the project is progressing smile.gif !
We even asked Tobias Waldvogel if he wanted to help us with MCF, now as Xiph is turning their back completely at his work .....

Well, "interesting". I once read that some people in Xiph were thinking about not take into account Tobias Waldvogel's great work, but I didn't know Xiph was doing so now sad.gif

Then I released another latest version that fix some bugs, merge Belgabor's (VirtualDubAVS) modifications and mines, and now use Spire's VirtualDub replacement icon (as it has been said : nothing against Avery Lee's original one, but Spire's one is great too smile.gif )
