I work with AVISynth and VirtualDub in WYSIWYM paradigm, I actively edit source AVS-files, and VirtualDub refreshed automatically.
But I would get rid of annoying warning, that makes me loose focus and keyboard control
--------------------------- VirtualDub Error --------------------------- The new video file has fewer video frames than the current file (838286 < 838339). Switching to it will result in changes to the edit list. Do you want to continue? ---------------------------
So, please, make a settings (may be internal, without interface, in ini-file or registry) to disable this warning.
Thanks for VirtualDub, Sincerely, Stas Fomin. |

Well, I don't have a problem doing this, but keep in mind what this dialog is for. This dialog appears if you have made edits to the timeline and the update is going to remove some frames in the middle of the edit list. This can be a problem if you make a temporary edit, because if you undo whatever caused the shortening, those frames won't be added back. You shouldn't be getting this warning if you haven't made any edits. |
