I'm loving the performance of win8's DXGI capture, but I was hoping at some point we could output the raw footage to external encoders rather than codecs. I could write my own intermediate program to handle the data from stdout ( of vdub ) to the stdin of x264.exe ( for example ) with CreateProcess IO redirection, but I'm not sure if that is the best approach.

If anyone has ideas, I'd be interested to hear them.
