i record allot of game play and, was wondering if you could add in your next version of virtual dub adding more then one file at a time instead of append each segment. also say i died a bunch of times in a game and i want to cut those pieces out and end that part then where i didn't die and i continue to the next part next clip will start from the clip i did not die instead of editing each file one at a time. so for a example below, i am willing to pay for the work.
start gameplay ----> |00:00___________________(before i died (08:06)__(Cut)died here(12:11)(Cut) ______________(12:57) 8:06 Continues to 12:57)______________________________________(22:47)| <--- end of game play |

VirtualDub can already automatically load segments if the they are numbered something like file01.avi, file02.avi, file03.avi, etc. If you want to remove a section just select the frames and press delete.

well for fraps they are not labled like that example F 2011-07-04 20-54-50-28 F 2011-07-04 20-56-37-50 etc.. yeah i know i can delete a segment but what i am trying to say is, u record a clip then you record another clip you died on. so u have a bunch of clips from the game u played which are in bunch of pieces, so i would like to add all segments even the ones i died so the part before i died i can cut the part i died then continue where i didn't die with out having to do each clip go to the time line where i died cut that piece out then add it to the main time line. editing each clip is a pain that is why i asked virtual dub does not have this feature and would be nice. as i said in last post i am willing to pay for those features if they get added. labeling each clip is the same as append each segment. |
