I would like to have a new feature:

Assume I load a given (lets say *.avi) video into VD.
I want to re-encode the audio part and save the resulting video part into the same directory as the original.

When I click menu

File->save

then a file open dialog appears where I can choose where to put the resulting window.
The default dir path is always the last remembered path.
For users like me with many differents paths it requires to navigate and click
through the whole dir tree which is user unfriendly on the long run.

Now I would like to have an option (in Preferences) which says:

"Save result video ALWAYS in source directory and append a postfix like

<source filename>_VDout.<source file extension>

This should be not difficult to implement.

At least the file open dialog should appear with a current source folder

Could this be included in the next release?

Thank you
Matt
