Maybe there is a way to do this, but I don't see it. Shouldn't there be a way to add "Scan Video Stream for Errors" as an even in the Job list?
That is, I would like to be able to have my computer do a error scan, and then a two pass encode without my intervention.
My understanding is that the error scan tells the encoder to skip any corrupted frames, therefor preventing encoding errors. I know I can do an error scan and then come back an hour later and do the encoding, but that gets messed up if my computer has shut down or someone else closed the program. Then I have to do the scan again and check back in another hour, etc etc. |
