It sounds funny, but there is one thing that always bothers me after I have started the processing in VirtualDub.

Did I, or not setup the right audio and video codecs?

Did I miss to change the audio compression rate from 320kbps to 128kbps, or not?

I have had to stop the processing in the middle many times just to check that.

So I think it would be great to have information about the used Video & Audio Codecs and the appropriate compression rates in the Main tab of the VirtualDub Status window.

If you need room for that info, I think that you can unite the Progress line and the two Time lines in one. Having the progress as background of the Time line where both Elapsed & Total are shown one after another. Or put the times down the Main tab over the Progress line. This way the times will be visible on each tab, not only on the Main one.

Also, I just found that currently the estimated total time does not account the Pause of the processing (Speed Limit = 0). Or more precisely it does not calculate it properly thinking that the process is going very slow, while it is not going at all. Not a big deal really, but you may want to improve it.

Another little issue is the file name of the current process. It is shown nowhere. Both VirtualDub Status and Main VirtualDub windows show only the name of the Input (DivX.avs in the above case), while I may need to know what file name I've chosen and where it is being saved exactly. So probably the Main VirtualDub window should be: VirtualDub 1.9.11 - [DivX.avs] Saving as C:\DivX.avi (dub in progress). Wether or not to add the different AVI types (i.e. Saving as old format AVI) is up to you. Thank You!
