Hi,
Please add a check of free space during compression to ask the user a new path where to store the remaing data of avi or (it should be simpler) add some code to pause the compression until the user frees some space to continue without loosing what done.
Eg: using xvid I had to create again the stat file because it was corrupted after the abort message of virtualdub during second pass (this should be fixed by xvid team, ok, but this is only an example of what I mean).
